Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit zengeerrfid.com, why we collect it and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by GoDaddy. When you visit the site, the hosting server automatically records information that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website securely and to detect and prevent misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. We have a data processing agreement with our hosting provider.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock icon in your browser.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or through a form on this website, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, company, your message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete this data once your request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Booking a consultation

You can book a consultation through our online booking tool (Simply Schedule Appointments), which runs on our own website. We process the data you enter (such as name, email address, phone number, the chosen time slot and any notes) to schedule and carry out the appointment and to send you confirmation and reminder emails. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Booking data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the appointment, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies, for example to make the site work properly. These are used on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics cookies, are only used with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future and delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. Google Analytics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), integrated via the Google Site Kit plugin. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how visitors use the website (e.g. pages visited, time on site, device and approximate location). IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4. The information may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Google’s standard contractual clauses apply in addition. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Website translation (GTranslate)

The website offers a language selector (GTranslate). If you choose another language, the page content is translated using Google’s translation service, and your browser connects to Google servers, which transmits your IP address to Google. This only happens when you actively use the language selector. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering the site in several languages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. Links to social media

Our website contains simple links to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. These are plain links, not embedded plugins, so no data is sent to these platforms when you visit our site. Only when you click a link and open the platform do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

10. Sending emails

Emails sent from this website (for example booking confirmations) are delivered through an email delivery service connected via the WP Mail SMTP plugin. The data contained in the email (such as your name and email address) is transmitted to the email provider for this purpose (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

11. Storage period

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by statutory retention periods (for example under commercial and tax law). After that, the data is deleted.

12. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

To exercise your rights, simply contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

13. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
